Before your treatment you should inform your eyebrow artist if you’re taking topical facial or skincare medications like Retin-A, Accutane, using any type of skin exfoliants or have any pre-existing skin conditions.

You might be asking why does this matter?

Well…

Some skincare ingredients or prescriptions can make your skin overly sensitive or cause it to peel. don’t want your skin to have any reaction while you have your brows shaped.

The same can apply if you’ve recently had Botox, injectables, dermabrasion or other cosmetic/facial treatments.

What to expect during your eyebrow shape?

At the beginning, your brow artist will consult with you on how you want your eyebrows shaped.

Do you like them full, defined or just cleaned up, or a high arch?

Let your artist know what you would like, but also ask your brow artist what they think will look best on you.

Your brow artist will start shaping your brows by removing the hair underneath, in between brows, and on top (if you wish) will be removed and trimmed if needed.

Trimming can make unruly hairs look much neater.

Finally, a soothing gel such as Aloe-Vera is applied and gently massaged into your brows to help calm your skin and give you a relaxing experience.
